The first chapter highlights MacLeod Resources "The Story of Canada's Marble" – its people, location and process. The next chapter, called "Natures Finest Art," is a short documentary-style video covering the past, present and future of Canada's marble. The viewer takes a trip up the mountain with host Chris Trider, President of MacLeod Resources, to learn all about the who, when and how this came to be.
The third chapter is the Marble Gallery, made up of still photography, highlighting the various types of marble MacLeod Resources offers. With all the different colors and variations (veining) in the marble, you can get a good sense of the brilliance of each marble. There are six different style of marbles to choose from: Cape Breton Bordeaux, Highland Heart, Pynk Floyd, Mountain Rose, Cape Breton Midnight and Cape Breton Midnight, Dark Eyes.
The fourth chapter outlines the technical value information that a designer or architect may require to make a decision about what type of stone to use for a project Last but not least, you’ll find a still-photograph slide show of MacLeod Resources’ current portfolio of installations.
